Androulakis from Montreal: National debt to embrace the anxieties of Greeks in the diaspora

by

The President of PASOK – Movement for Change celebrated the 15th of August with expatriates in Montreal, Canada. Nikos Androulakis, responding to the invitation of the Greek diaspora, attended Vespers yesterday at the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin.

Mr. Androulakis emphasized that the Greeks of the diaspora play a leading role in the countries where they live and described a national debt “to embrace their anxieties especially in the matter of education, where the needs have multiplied in recent years”.

The entire statement of Nikos Androulakis:

I want to thank the expatriates of Canada for the great honor of inviting me to spend together the great celebration of Orthodoxy.

The Greeks of the diaspora play a leading role in the economic, social and scientific life of the countries they live in, which is why they are the best ambassadors of our homeland. We therefore have a national duty to embrace their anxieties, especially in the matter of education, where the needs have multiplied in recent years.

Here from Montreal I want to wish a happy birthday to all Greek women and men everywhere.
