Hliopoulos: Mr. Mitsotakis was and remains a representative of bankruptcy

by

“Mr. Mitsotakis, who has been hiding for 15 days in order not to answer for the wiretapping organized by his government, is today celebrating something that was decided a year before his election”, reports the SYRIZA press representative

In response to the statements of Kyriakos Mitsotakis regarding the exit of the Greek economy from the regime of enhanced supervision, in response to a statement by the press representative of the SYRIZA Progressive Alliance, Nasos Iliopoulos.

Specifically it states:

“Mr. Mitsotakis, who has been hiding for 15 days in order not to answer for the wiretapping organized by his government, is today celebrating something that was decided a year before his election.

The most unscrupulous and vulgar prime minister of the post-colonial era, the one who will go down in history for looting public money and abusing the rule of law, delivered a campaign speech today with reheated lies.

Mr. Mitsotakis represents the forces that bankrupted the country, who throughout the 2015-19 period supported the IMF, Schäuble and the most extreme of the creditors who wanted the exemplary punishment of the Greek people. He supported those who were constantly asking for new measures without ever admitting their failures. By the end he was asking for a “support line of credit”. That is, a new memorandum. In a word, he was and remains a representative of bankruptcy.

In 2019, SYRIZA managed to deliver a country with 37 billion in public funds, with regulated debt, with 12 consecutive quarters of growth, with unemployment reduced by 10%, a substantial increase in the minimum wage, the restoration of labor market rules and real support for SSY and the social state.

In the Greece of Mr. Mitsotakis who eats from the ready, poverty is increasing again, we are constantly recording negative records in accuracy and for the vast majority of citizens the month does not come out.

The Mitsotakis nightmare will soon be closed and the citizens will open a new page of democratic and social rebirth. History will treat Mitsotakis fairly and his name will be written very high on the list of those who for their own self-interest did not hesitate to harm the country.”
