What is expected to be discussed at today’s meeting?
Behind closed doors and in application of the confidentiality procedure, as decided yesterday by majority, the work of the Investigative Committee continues today, on the second day, investigating the “case of violation of the confidentiality of the communications of the president of PASAOK-KINAL and MEP Mr. Nikos Androulakis by the EYP or by other natural or legal persons, the confirmed attempt to trap his mobile phone with the Predator malicious software, the illegal use of it in the territory and the investigation into the existence of responsibilities of the Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis and any other involved natural or legal entity”.
In today’s meeting, which started a short time ago, among the other issues concerning the operation of the Commission, it is expected to be discussed whether the witnesses related to the EYP are hindered, before the Inquiry, by the commitment of confidentiality they have to testify as witnesses in the courts or before another Authority regarding matters, information, facts or persons concerning the Service.
Also today, the parties are expected to file the lists of witnesses they request to appear and file as well as the first lists of documents they wish to file with the Commission.
