Tips for government officials that suggest or raise the issue of changing it electoral law, left ND MP Konstantinos Kyranakis, speaking on SKAI TV.
When asked if the electoral law should be changed, the MP answered unequivocally “no”, noting that “The prime minister has said this clearly.” He even claimed that “Whenever (the prime minister) has been asked, he has said that these are not serious matters and we operate institutionally, seriously, reliably”. The ND MP estimated that the proposals to the Maximos House to change the electoral law “are wrong” while he additionally commented that “those who suggest to him to change the electoral law are doing harm because they put pressure on the opposition to talk about defeatism, about unreliability, to talk about all this without the electoral law having changed and nor is it going to change.
However, Mr. Kyranakis assessed that self-reliance for the governing faction is possible, given that, as he said, with the electoral law that the second elections will be held after those of the simple proportional one, is at the limit of 38%.
