The immediate reaction of the ND was caused by the withdrawal of the representatives of SYRIZA and PASOK-KINAL from the meeting of the examination committee for the monitoring. In a statement he issued, he attributes an attempt to instrumentalize the surveillance issue to the two parties and at the same time abandons them for trying to set up a communication show at the expense of the investigation.

SYRIZA and PASOK-KINAL proved once again that their only goal was to instrumentalize a serious issue related to the functioning of institutions in order to set up a cheap communication show at the expense of research.
It is sad, that opposition parties at a critical time for the country choose to create impressions, insisting on shouting instead of arguments.
New Democracy will not follow them. Let them “hug” each other by following anti-institutional exit behaviors instead of substantive discussion through parliamentary procedures.
