Oikonomou for Tsipras: Instead of seeing the impasses of his policy, the measurements are to blame again

by

Statement by the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Government Representative Yiannis Oikonomou regarding the interview of the official opposition leader on ANT1.

“It is obvious that Mr. Tsipras is unable to understand the international reality and to say something essential about what is happening both in Greece and in the international environment. That is why he insists on airs and lies” commented today the government representative, Yannis Oikonomou, on the occasion of the official opposition leader’s interview with ANT1.

“While until yesterday he was saying that the government left society unprotected, today he is complaining that he distributed 50 billion to the poor. Are the professionals and workers who supported themselves during the pandemic, so that they don’t get locked out and jobs aren’t lost? As for the phrase that if he had to distribute 50 billion he would be prime minister until he gets bored, all he shows is deep contempt for the citizens. He is unrepentant, cut off from society’s priorities and unlearnable.

The most prominent example, despite what is being revealed daily, is still against the university police. And instead of seeing the impasses of his policy, he blames the measurements again. He is the same as in 2019, when he claimed that there is not a single chance in a million that Mr. Mitsotakis will lose the elections. The Government, on the contrary, operates with a plan, with professionalism and constantly tries to ease the tension of the problems in the lives of citizens.

PS: Regarding how progressive the reunion of Mr. Tsipras with Mr. Varoufakis would be in the context of a three-party government, we leave it to the judgment of the citizens” concludes the announcement of the government representative.
