The President of the Republic sent her own message to Ankara after her meeting with the President of Ireland Michael Higgins

Revisionism, provocative rhetoric and disrespect for international law and good neighborly relations, wherever they come from, endanger peace and stability, said the President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou during her meeting with the President of Ireland Michael Higgins, in Valletta, Malta, on the sidelines of the 17th Informal Meeting of the Heads of State of the Arraiolos Group.

“The two Presidents had the opportunity to confirm the excellent level of Greece-Ireland relations in the areas of mutual interest, while they discussed the ongoing war in Ukraine and the resulting serious challenges that a united Europe must face.

Finally, the President of the Republic emphasized that revisionism, provocative rhetoric and disrespect for international law and good-neighborly relations, wherever they come from, endanger peace and stability,” reads the announcement of the Presidency.
