Greece, Notis Mitarakis clarified, is not going to accept further instrumentalization of immigration by Turkey.

At the same time, the minister emphasized, it must be clarified that the humanitarian part of immigration is one thing, and dealing with smugglers is another. “Turkey’s duty is to protect its borders so that migrants do not leave, just as Greece’s duty is to prevent their escape to Western Europe,” he noted.

It is unacceptable, these 92 people were stripped by the neighboring authorities, according to their own testimonies, they were rescued by Frontex and the Greek authorities.
