At 1 in the morning, Apostolos Tzizikostas departed from Smyrna, with the government aircraft that carried Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias to Greece on his return flight from the United Arab Emirates.
The aircraft with Nikos Dendias picked up the governor of Central Macedonia and their associates and landed them in Elefsina.
It is recalled that yesterday at noon, the Turkish authorities forbade without reason the entry of the governor of Central Macedonia, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, to Smyrna, in order to preside over the meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean ARNEM committee of the European Committee of the Regions.
“Thank you once again for your love and support. Finally good, all is well” the regional governor said in his post.
