“I want to send a message as we slowly approach the 2023 elections: Now is not the time to drag the country’s political life into the mud again. We will say “no” to those who want to turn us back,” said the prime minister.
“Now is not the time to drag the political life of the country back into the mud”, is the message sent by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during his speech at a gathering of members and friends of the National Democratic Party, on the central pedestrian street of Katerinis.
At the same time, he said how the dilemma of the 2023 elections will be “whether we want to go forward or backward” and noted that Greece is becoming stronger, more prosperous, a self-confident country.
At the same time, he expressed the certainty that the citizens will once again give their vote to the government of the New Democracy.
“I want to send a message as we slowly approach the 2023 elections: Now is not the time to drag the country’s political life into the mud again,” said Mr. Mitsotakis and continued:
“We will say “no” to those who want to turn us back. We will say “yes” to every creative proposal, which unites Greek society. And to those who insist on discovering science fiction stories, our answer is what is happening today southwest of the Peloponnese and Crete. The initiation of the hydrocarbon extraction process so that we as a country can strengthen energy sufficiency with projects. So, with works, and not with words, we will respond to the challenges of the times”.
“On the way to the polls, the time will come for big dilemmas and real comparisons”, the prime minister emphasized and underlined:
“The most important dilemma is whether we will go forward or backward and who the Greeks want to rule Greece. The Greeks will be asked to answer this question and I am sure that they will again give us their support and surround us with their trust again. Do we want to continue on this path of a strong and prosperous Greece or do we want to kick the milk jug and go back to a past which is not so distant?
At the same time, Mr. Mitsotakis stated that the government keeps its commitments and referring to the work that has been done in the last 3.5 years, he pointed out:
“Greece is becoming stronger, it is becoming more prosperous, it is a country with self-confidence, it is a country with an economy that is doing better and precisely because our economy is doing better we can support our weaker fellow citizens in the face of the great precision crisis that now we face All Greeks know that this government has bent over the real problems of society, that we are interested in deeds and not words and that we can produce a measurable result that is appreciated by the citizens. That we are here to ensure the well-being of the whole society, but also to be sure that no one will be left behind in this great effort that we have started”.
