Theodorikakos: Shameless are those who use unhappy people as tools

The immediate reaction of the Minister of Citizen Protection Takis Theodorikakos was caused by the attack he received from the Turkish Deputy Minister of the Interior Ismail Tsatakli, who characterized him as cheeky and shameless on the occasion of the Greek minister’s statements to Sky, that Greece protects its borders and does not accept on its territory terrorists. The answer of Mr. Theodorikakos is clear and unambiguous: The minister returns the characterizations to Mr. Tsatakli and notes that shameless are those who exploit unhappy people, illegal immigrants, in a barbaric way and those who poison the relations between our two peoples. Greece, from a position of principle, is against any form of terrorism and all humanity knows this. The insults and slanders of the representatives of the Ministry of Interior of Turkey fall on deaf ears.

It is recalled that an unprecedented personal attack on the Minister of Citizen Protection Takis Theodorikakos occasion his statements to Sky yesterday launched via Twitter the Deputy Minister of the Interior of Turkey, Ismail Tsatakli, while repeating the claims made by his political superior Suleiman Soylu, according to which if she was not arrested, the accused for the attack in Istanbul would flee to Greece, but also the claims about terrorist training in Lavrio, which Turkish officials have been saying for a long time.

As reported by Sky’s correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, in his post-comment, Ismail Tsatakli refers to Mr. Theodorikakos, describes him as “cheeky and shameless” and writes: “It is clear that you are protecting the border(!) It is clear that you are protecting the border from the Lavrio Camp of the PKK (! ) From the members of FETO you accept (!) You kill innocents, you open arms to terrorists!
