Born in Cuba on 02/12/1997, Israel Masso struggles as central and has a height of 204cm.
He made his first steps in volleyball in the 2013-14 season from Guantanamo, Cuba, where he stayed until the 2018-19 season. In this six years he was also international with both the K21 and K23 of the National Cuban and the men’s team. Indeed, in 2017 it was the leading central of the K21 World Championship, and a year later became the leading central of the K23 Pan -American Games.
His trip to Europe began in Spain and the 7 Islands Volleyball Club, the 2019-20 season, but was marked by the Coronovirus pandemic.
In the 2020-21 season he competed with the National Cuban Men’s team in the Olympic Games qualifiers, but also in the Norceca Championship (North and Central America and Caribbean Champion

In the 2021-22 season he was in Portugal, playing on behalf of Sporting Lisbon, with which he made excellent games, and contributed with his presence to the successful course of the team.
The next season he found him again with the Sporting Lisbon jersey, while he was an active member of the National Cuban men’s team, both in VNL and in Pan -American Games. This season, he arrived with the Portuguese team in the Challenge Cup ‘8’, a performance that was also historic.
