Dendias: Condemnation of both Turkish-Libyan memoranda by the Libyan committee presidents

Nikos Dendias met, among others, with the presidents of the Committees of the House of Representatives of Libya

The presidents of the Committees of the House of Representatives of Libya with whom the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias met, proceeded to clearly condemn the Turkish-Libyan “memorandum” in ’19 and also the one signed in October ’22.

“I had conversations with Committee Chairmen of the House of Representatives of Libya whom I thanked for their clear condemnation of the Turkish-Libyan “memorandum” in ’19, but also the one signed in October ’22. Parliamentary cooperation also in focus.”

Earlier, Nikos Dendias had a meeting with Marshal Khalifa Haftar, head of the Libyan National Army (LNA) where the focus of the meeting was the need to stabilize Libya and the promotion of peace and stability in the wider region.

It is recalled that earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, did not give in to the blackmail of the transitional government of Libya to meet with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
