The cabinet is meeting tomorrow, Friday, November 25 at 11:00 a.m., under the leadership of the prime minister at Megaros Maximos. At 17:00 the prime minister will attend and speak at the event on the theme: “Policies for the Elimination of Violence against Women”, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The topics of the cabinet meeting are:
-Presentation by Finance Minister Christos Staikouras and Deputy Minister Theodoros Skylakakis regarding the state and prospects of the Greek economy – state budget draft 2023
-Presentation by the Minister of Justice Kostas Tsiaras and the Minister of State Giorgos Gerapetritis of the bill on the process of lifting the privacy of communications, cyber security and the protection of citizens’ personal data
-Presentation by the Minister of Finance Christos Staikouras of the legislative initiatives: a) Fundraising bill, b) Taking measures to implement Regulation (EU) 2021/23, regarding the framework for the recovery and consolidation of central counterparties, c) Taking measures to implement the Regulation (EU) 2019/1238 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the establishment of a pan-European individual pension product,
-Presentation by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Kostas Skrekas, of the bill for the improvement of water management and the expansion of the powers of the Energy Regulatory Authority, in terms of water and urban waste management services
-Presentation by the Minister of the Interior, Makis Voridis, of the bill for the Ombudsman
-Presentation by the Minister of Health Thanos Pleuris and Deputy Minister Zoi Raptis of the National Action Plan for mental health.
