Students from the journalism department “Little Journalists” of the 2nd Standard High School of Tripoli asked questions to Kyriakos Mitsotakis
The Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, included a different interview in his program during his visit to Tripoli, last Monday. More specifically, students from the journalism department “Little Journalists” of 2u of Tripoli High School, they asked questions to Kyriakos Mitsotakis, from their own perspective, as teenagers of this society. The debate was moderated by Elli Artopoulou.
The interview took place at the “Mainalon” hotel, in Areos Square, in the center of Tripoli.
Watch the entire interview in the video below:
“From the Holy Lands of Arcadia and the Peloponnese and under the gaze of the Commander-in-Chief of the Nation, Theodoros Kolokotronis, in Areos Square in Tripoli, the Greek Prime Minister was “interrogated” journalistically by schoolgirls and students of 2u Model High School of Tripoli.
It was a different interview, through the clear, pure look of the children who are the future, the tomorrow of Greece!
It was our great honor that the Prime Minister agreed to do this interview which has no resemblance to any other.
Without bigotry, without second thoughts, without selfishness, schoolgirls and students of Tripoli submitted their questions to Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
I would like to thank the Prime Minister, with whom, once again, I had the opportunity to speak with him and in this case to coordinate the interview of the “Little Journalists”.
It is worth emphasizing that he answered all the questions, without any hesitation, directly and in a clear way. Young and old who will attend the interview, have the possibility to enter the process of “criticism” and not “critical” thinking, which is for me personally important.
In closing, I would like to thank the “Little Journalists”, the professors of the department Ms. Maria Maglari and Ms. Polina Panagopoulou, but also the Director of the school Ms. Eleni Spyropoulou for our excellent collaboration.”

Mr. Mitsotakis answered the questions of the young journalists willingly and enthusiastically. Specifically, issues of internal and external policy, education, sports and economy were discussed.
On the day of the interview, we waited for the Prime Minister full of anxiety and anxiety, but we were overwhelmed with feelings of excitement, impatience and curiosity. Everything we felt was due to the fact that it was an unprecedented experience for everyone and at the same time that Mr. Mitsotakis is undoubtedly an important person in the political life of our country.
As soon as the Prime Minister arrived, he introduced himself to all of us and an atmosphere of familiarity was immediately created between us. A few minutes later the cameras and projectors were ready. We sat near him and the interview began!
During the conversation we all felt very nice and comfortable with him and we were very happy because he answered our questions. Anxiety and curiosity began to disappear and were quickly replaced by excitement and pleasure. We were very happy that he listened attentively to the concerns of our generation and we feel proud that we were given the opportunity to be the voice of all teenagers!
From this interview we gained important knowledge and unforgettable experiences. It was a unique encounter that few have the opportunity to experience. It will certainly remain engraved in the memory of all of us as one of our best moments in the journalistic field.
We would like to warmly thank the Prime Minister for this interview and Mrs. Elli Artopoulou, journalist of ”kalimera arkadia”, who helped us and guided us in this different process for us.
