What Avramakis and Pipili argued for the episode between them in the Parliament – Video
For yesterday incident of tension in the Parliament between SYRIZA MP Lefteris Avramakis and New Democracy MP Fotini Pipili, the “protagonists” of the episode spoke to the Thessaloniki radio station Status 107.7.
SYRIZA MP, Lefteris Avramakisargued that under no circumstances did he make offensive gestures or did not proceed with verbal insults towards Mrs. Pipili, making it a cheap distractionwhile he pointed out that “Ms. Pipili has a tension within her, which she usually conveys by interrupting the interlocutors, taking the floor arbitrarily.”
We, in such tension yesterday, simply told her, “calm down, go outside for a while to calm down. I didn’t insult her in any way, I didn’t touch her as a person. I have never given such rights».
On her side Fotini Pipili, stated that Mr. Avramakis gave her the same gesture that Ilias Kasidiaris of Golden Dawn had made to her in 2012, which meant “sit down because you are drunk”.
“I wasn’t afraid of Golden Dawn, I won’t be afraid of you, I’m just coming to point out to you that you are the Kasidiaris of SYRIZA and I will melt you politically for your behavior” she answered at that time in the parliament, to the SYRIZA deputy.
The worst thing is, according to Ms. Pipili, “she opened her mouth and uttered unacceptable things and the Speaker of the Parliament even made a remark to her.”
