Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met today Monday at the Maximos Palace with the newly elected President of the Tripartite Collective Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zeljka Cvijanovic.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister underlined Greece’s continued interest in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an emphasis on its stability, security and EU accession path.

The two leaders reviewed the very good relations between the two countries and exchanged views on the possibilities for their further development, especially in the fields of economy and energy.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis reiterated Greece’s clear support for the European perspective of the Western Balkans, as a strategic goal and key priority of our country in the region, in accordance with the stated sectarianism, and emphasized that Greece supports the granting of candidate status to Bosnia and Herzegovina .
