The president of SYRIZA exchanged wishes with the parliamentary editors Alexis Tsiprasafter the end of the budget voting procedure in the plenary session of the Parliament.
The journalists asked the president of SYRIZA what he replied to the prime minister, when during the debate in the plenary, Mr. Mitsotakis, addressing the chairs of the official opposition, said “you are a national exception”, for choosing to vote against the Budget of national defense expenses. The question was submitted to Mr. Tsipras since when he answered the prime minister, the microphone was off.
“I said to him, ‘Aren’t you ashamed? Where did you watch Chief GEETHA? The Chief GES? Why were you following the equipment managers? Tell us now, why? What did you want to check?’ Mitsotakis did not dare to answer,” said Mr. Tsipras.
