Six-party Parliament “gives” the result of the latest survey for 2022 – PASOK lost one point and ND won after the outbreak of the Qatargate scandal and the involvement of Eva Kaili – Kyriakos Mitsotakis is far more suitable for prime minister
The difference is 8% New Republic by SYRIZAaccording to the result of the latest poll for 2022 conducted by Pulse, on behalf of .
According to the data of the survey, New Democracy collects 34% of the valid ones, compared to 26% collected by SYRIZA. PASOK, after the outbreak of the Qatargate scandal and the involvement of Eva Kaili, appears to be losing one percentage point, falling to 10.5%, while, based on the sample survey conducted on December 18 and 19, with the participation of 1,103 citizens of every social level, the new Parliament will be six-party, as the KKE gathers 5%, the Hellenic Solution 4% and MeRA25 a percentage of 3%.
One of the key elements of the survey results concerns the so-called “gray zone”, i.e. the undecided, which is 13%, a percentage that can determine the overall outcome of the elections and not just the balance in Parliament.
How many want self-reliance and for which party
When asked whether they prefer one-party autonomy or a coalition government, the results give… a derby. The responses in this category are divided, however, most, even left-wing voters, prefer, in case of independence, a New Democracy government, with the percentages for a possible independent SYRIZA government falling significantly behind.
A more suitable prime minister and crisis management
In the question of the most suitable prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis still enjoys a difference of 11 points in relation to Alexis Tsipras, while the percentage of those who do not consider either of them suitable is also large.
More specifically, Kyriakos Mitsotakis gathers 39% of the answers as the most suitable for prime minister, against 28% of Alexis Tsipras. The same percentage (28%) is the percentage of citizens who do not want either.
As far as dealing with crises is concerned, the results of the poll are interesting.
In matters of development and economy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis appears far more suitable, with 37%, compared to 26% for Alexis Tsipras and only 7% for Nikos Androulakis. The percentage that does not consider anyone suitable is significant, which reached 23%.
As far as the country’s foreign policy and defense are concerned, Kyriakos Mitsotakis has high approval ratings, reaching 45%, compared to 24% for Alexis Tsipras and 4% for Nikos Androulakis.
The distance is shorter in the matter of managing the energy crisis. Kyriakos Mitsotakis collects 35%, against SYRIZA’s 27% and Nikos Androulakis’ 8%. The answer “none of the three” gathered 24%.
In the last category of suitability, which concerns transparency, the most interesting elements are found. Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Alexis Tsipras gather the same percentage (28%), against 10% of Nikos Androulakis and 26% of the answer “none of the three”.
However, it is worth noting that in the previous poll, Kyriakos Mitsotakis was below Alexis Tsipras, which shows us that he is starting to recover in this category as well, covering a significant percentage of the “loss” he had suffered recently, from case of follow-ups.
