He also referred to the Cyprus issue, saying that “we are talking about two sovereign, equal and independent states” and added that the issue is the recognition of the pseudo-state.

The Turkish Minister of Defense made new provocative statements, Hulusi Akarwho called Greece “arrogant” and called on NATO to stop its “ill-educated attitude”.

He also referred to the Cyprus issue, saying that “we are talking about two sovereign, equal and independent states” and added that the issue is the recognition of the pseudo-state.

As SKAI correspondent Manolis Kostidis reports from Istanbul, Akar said:

“Unfortunately, Greece continues the actions that will escalate the tension. Greece has harassed our planes twice in the last week. This hostile attitude clearly showed that Greece has become arrogant.

It has been given and will continue to be given in response to all kinds of unjust acts committed by Greece. It is time for NATO to stop this spoiled attitude. The Greek people know each other very well. Those who want their future to be good, must turn away from the mistakes of yesterday and today.

Cyprus, as you all know, is our national issue. Regarding Cyprus, we are talking about two sovereign, equal and independent states. The issue is no longer the establishment of this state, but the recognition of the state that has been established.”
