The Minister of Finance requested the renewal of citizens’ trust in New Democracy, in the elections to be held in 2023, Christos Staikourasin his message ahead of the new year.

“On the threshold of the new year, I wish every citizen to spend it with health, individual and collective successes.
And this, given that the planet, and Europe in particular, are facing multiple, major challenges, which 2022 bequeaths.
Challenges arising, mainly, from the multi-level, exogenous crises and the consequent intense liquidity.
Within this volatile international environment, Greece has managed to demonstrate strong resilience, positive progress and auspicious prospects.
Our country, having effectively dealt with the crises that shook and destabilized traditionally strong countries and economies, not only stood up, but was repeatedly a point of positive reports and laid solid foundations for an even better future.
We are working and will continue to work, with consistency and seriousness, so that Greece continues on the path of sustainable development in 2023.
And by renewing citizens’ trust, let us achieve even more for all citizens.
