Dendia’s message: Respect for international law is a cornerstone of Greek foreign policy

“Greece has managed to become a beacon of stability” pointed out Nikos Dendias

“The cornerstone of Greek foreign policy is respect for international law and the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter,” stressed Tuesday Nikos Dendias, who was received by the Governors and Governors of San Marino, Maria Luisa Berti and Manuel Ciavatta. Speeches by the two Governors and the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs took place at the seat of the Government.

“Being the oldest member state of NATO and the EU in the Eastern Mediterranean, my country bears, we feel, a special responsibility: to promote stability and prosperity in our neighborhood and in Europe. Being in an area surrounded by crises, Greece managed to become a beacon of stabilityNikos Dendias pointed out.

“We have developed stable forms of cooperation with like-minded partners who share our vision for principles-based international relations’ added Mr. Dendias.
