A call to all the parties and the president of the Parliament, Kostas Tasoula, to accept the request of the president of ADAE, Christos Rammos, to inform the Committee on Institutions and Transparency of the Parliament, addressed the member of the committee, MP of PASOK Haris Kastanidis.
In his letter, the president of ADAE submitted a request to the Commission to be convened in order to account for the actions of ADAE.

“The President of the Authority for Ensuring the Privacy of Communications, Mr. Rammos, performing his duties flawlessly and respecting the Parliament of the Greeks to which all Independent Authorities are accountable, asked to inform the Committee on Institutions and Transparency on matters of serious public interest. To my surprise and regret, I found that once again the New Democracy majority in the Institutions and Transparency Committee refused his attendance. I invite all the political parties and the Speaker of the Parliament to accept the request of the President of ADAE to inform the Committee on Institutions and Transparency because this will facilitate the capture of the truth in the much-lauded case of wiretapping”.
According to information, the president of SYRIZA is also in communication with Mr. Tasoula Alexis Tsipras underlined the need for Parliament to immediately respond to the request of the head of the Independent Authority, while the official opposition commented that “any attempt to obstruct by the governing majority no longer makes any sense”.
“There are no uninvited guests. The committee calls, no one nominates himself. It’s not strangeness or stubbornness, there is an institutional procedure”, however, noted the president of the Parliament, when asked by journalists about the letter of ADAE president Christos Rammos.
