British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace meets with other Defense Ministers at the Tapa military base in Estonia
Britain plans to send 600 Brimstone missiles to Ukraine to support the country in its fight against Russia, Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said today.
Wallace met with other defense ministers at the Tapa military base in Estonia.
He outlined a previously announced package of military support for Ukraine, including the shipment of Challenger tanks and detailed the types of missiles Britain would supply.
“I can say that we intend to send another 600 Brimstone missiles which will be incredibly important in helping Ukraine dominate the battlefield,” Wallace said.
Wallace said the West’s unity against Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion remains strong and that the allies “are prepared to continue this way for a long time.”
“If President Putin is betting that we will be bored this year, he is wrong. We will plan for this year and next year and the year after and beyond,” he said.
