The staff is constantly being strengthened, already at this moment in February another 250 border guards will be on duty, and another 150 will be recruited in order to be as well organized as possible.

The Greek Police, on the one hand, guard the borders, and have made them practically inaccessible, effectively solving the immigration problem in this way because that is what it is all about, the police there and the coast guards save human lives where needed. Last year, hundreds of migrants were saved by our policemen in the torrential waters of the river Evros.

11,500 domestic violence cases – Juvenile delinquency on the rise
We have experienced many incidents of violence against minors and teenagers around us. This is a very big scourge. We are making a very hard, painstaking and methodical effort with the Juvenile Departments.
