Papathanasis to SKAI: We do not stop supporting households and businesses – Young people at the center of the new four-year period

“From the first moment this government wants to support young people. Young people will be at the center of the new four-year period as well, we are putting a lot of emphasis, the demographic is a serious problem”, said the Deputy Minister of Development to SKAI and the program “Kalimera” with Giorgos Autias Nikos Papathanasis.

Asked about the support package for vulnerable households, Mr. Papathanasis said: “We will stand by Hatzidaki’s statements on the issue of pensions. Since then, we have also announced the continuation of the basket, which is doing very well, has maintained prices. Shopping card starts very soon. We will be able to use the immaterial card in public markets as well. We have proven that we do not stop supporting households and businesses. We do not know when the war and this precision crisis will end, nevertheless we will be on the side of all our fellow citizens”.

On the occasion of the debate in the Parliament, the Deputy Minister of Development underlined that “we were given an opportunity in the Parliament to measure ourselves in terms of the work we have done. The Greek people are interested in the next day, what they will be able to do for their home, for their children. This is what we presented. The rest are frou frou and perfumes. In the matter of follow-ups, it turned out that nothing of what they have said happened. Mr. Tsipras, since he has nothing else to present, had to find something to be able to attract attention.”
