The General Air Staff announced at noon on Wednesday that “today, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, the search and rescue operations to locate the pilot of the F-4E Phantom II aircraft, Sergeant Major (I) Efstathios Tsitlakides, 31, were completed, which followed the plane crash of 30 January 2023, 25 nautical miles south of Andravida Airport. The collection and analysis of the findings confirmed his death.”
