Economou to SKAI: Tsipras is afraid to pose the dilemma “Mitsotakis or Tsipras” – We want self-reliance

The government spokesman asked the people to give a strong mandate to New Democracy in the elections

“Alexis Tsipras is afraid to even raise the dilemma ‘Mitsotakis or Tsipras’. He is afraid to even tell the world that he will be a better prime minister than Mitsotakis,” said Mr Giannis Oikonomou to and in the show “good morning” by Giorgos Avtias.

At the same time, the government representative asked the people in the upcoming elections to give a strong mandate to New Democracy to continue its work, saying characteristically that “we want from the first Sunday a percentage that ensures self-reliance”.

He emphasized that the world needs a “strong, compact and self-sufficient government which the ND can provide”, while he condemned the statement of Mr. Spirtzis, who yesterday emphasized that “we will bring back democracy with good or bad”.

Mr. Economou added that “Mr. Tsipras has been using the same toxic language and unsubstantiated promises for the 15 years he has been the leader of SYRIZA”.

Regarding the Turkish provocation, the government representative noted that “Turkey’s tactics have shown that it has not benefited it in accepting its positions neither in the EU, nor in NATO, nor in its bilateral relations. As much as they try to scare us, we have left no room for them to trap us. Mitsotakis managed to ensure that our country is not threatened and not afraid.”
