“Mr. Tsipras is the prime minister who legislated the sale of loans to funds, who turned auctions into electronic ones to make it easier for lenders, who made obstructing an auction a criminal offense, who abolished (1/2/19) the horizontal protection of of a first residence, which only the day before yesterday stated that “25,000 auctions are not many”, says the government representative, Giannis Oikonomou responding to the “fires” of Alexis Tsipras about auctions and funds.

“He is the man who, with the same lack of responsibility and honesty that characterizes him for 15 years that he remains the leader of SYRIZA, wants to appear today as a protector of borrowers. Everyone understands. Also, in Greece, governments are elected by the people with their votes.

Mr. Tsipras, desperately searching for a narrative of how to manage his rejection by the dominant Greek people, is becoming graphic – after roughly saying that the people will vote one thing and the results will be another – and dangerous for our institutional order” concluded Yannis Oikonomou.
