As the epitome of hatred and extremism, the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Government Spokesman, Yannis Oikonomou, characterized the statements of SYRIZA MEP Kostas Arvanitis about Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

“The statements of SYRIZA MEP Mr. Arvanitis – who attacked the Prime Minister with horrible descriptions and made the novel equation of excellence with Nazism – are the epitome of hatred and extremism“, emphasized Mr. Economou, assessing that if Mr. Tsipras does not disapprove of him and does not call him to class, he will be jointly responsible for the baseness of Mr. Arvanitis’ speech.

“Mr. Arvanitis dares to smear the faction that restored the Republic, that arrested and imprisoned the neo-Nazis” commented Mr. Economou.

He summed up that this is baseness, therefore, and audacity by those who could not find a room for the trial of the neo-Nazis, who voted with them for the simple proportional one, who were shamelessly “absent” while pretending to be present at the voting of the provision for the protection of the Republic from criminal organizations and faces.
