The assessment of the situation in the international energy market, and the taking of additional support measures for households and businesses for January 2022, was the focus of a meeting under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, which took place today Friday at the Maximos Palace.
As it became known, the decisions will be taken and announced next week, while during the meeting the effects of the price trend on electricity, households, businesses and the level of inflation were examined and the available alternatives for the most targeted and effective adaptation of the state aid package to all those affected.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Costas Skrekas, the Ministers of State George Gerapetritis and Akis Skertsos, the Deputy Minister of Finance Theodoros Skylakakis, the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and the Deputy Spokesman to the Deputy Prime Minister Secretary of Energy and Mineral Resources Alexandra Sdoukou, General Secretary of Fiscal Policy Thanos Petralias and Head of the Economic Office of the Prime Minister Alexis Patelis.
