Today, the Prime Minister proceeded with the now established review of the government’s actions of the week. Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

In the lengthy post, for which – as he said – “I have set myself a word limit for these posts (which I confess I have broken a couple of times), so as not to abuse your time”, the Prime Minister chooses to be mentioned:

-In support of pensioners who did not see an increase due to the personal difference

– In the setting of 36 or 72 doses but also the possibility of reviving older schemes of setting 72 or 120 doses

– To improve the extrajudicial mechanism

-Returning the excise tax for farmers

-In the 6 month extension for the low VAT on products and services

– The increase of the allowance for dangerous and unhealthy work to 200 euros

-On the new initiative and the subsidy for unemployed people who find work

-In the presentation of the plans for the new Archaeological Museum

-In the grant of unemployed people aged 18-29 to set up their own business

– In the actions related to the support of the rights of Persons with Disabilities

– In the emblematic works in western Macedonia

-To the cleaning and reforestation of forests in Athens and Thessaloniki.

“Here I will close today’s post, hoping that I leave you a little more optimistic about the future. You know, we often talk about how far behind Greece is in many issues – and many of the obstacles on the way to our country’s progress are removed with difficulty and time. But little by little, I hope that those who judge our work in good faith will see that we do not stop working and trying”, emphasizes Mr. Mitsotakis and concludes by saying: “Think, for example, for how many years we have been discussing the pending pensions. How many are there, how late are they, how many were left by (any) previous government and how much did they increase or decrease. This discussion is now over. We left her behind. We made every effort, enlisted different tools, tried new ways, and finally, we solved a timeless problem. I’m not saying this to get someone to say “well done”. The state owed it to do so. But I mention it as an example, to tell you that we do the same with every problem. Sometimes we take small steps forward, sometimes leaps, sometimes we make mistakes and change course – but we always work and strive for Greece to progress”.
