“The KKE will give all its strength in the workplaces, in the factories, in the neighborhoods, in the schools and in the schools, so that “the knife reaches the bone” this time”
“From the Redness of the refugees, of Madras, of the Block, of the heroic Battle, but also from the Redness that wants its children to live humanely and not “to live by luck”, we address a call to battle, a struggle, a call to come together and strengthen the KKE everywhere. From here and in all the working-class neighborhoods of Piraeus, in the port, in the factories, in the offices, in the shops, in the hospitals, in the schools and colleges, everywhere, where the heart of the working class, the popular strata, the youth beats, we are sending a strong message in all directions: the KKE is not going to allow the crime in Tempi to be covered up, to get away with the policy that exterminates, murders” underlined the general secretary of the Central Committee of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoubasin his speech at tonight’s political-cultural event for the 100 years of Kokkinia.
“We will express, as we always do, the genuine popular feeling, the anger that justly overflows from the working-people’s world, from the youth of our country. We will be at the front, as always, for this outrage to become a decision to overthrow the rotten exploitative system that breeds these tragedies.
Neither the bad time is to blame, nor the bad country, nor the bad moment. It is the pursuit of profit that dominates everywhere and murders, it is the fault of those who ruled and are ruling this country” he emphasized and added:
“The KKE will give all its strength in the workplaces, in the factories, in the neighborhoods, in the schools and in the schools, so that “the knife reaches the bone” this time. We will not let it pass like this. Responsibilities must be attributed to both state and government and private company and individual responsibilities where they exist, all of them! They should not be statute-barred, they should not be forgotten.”
D. Koutsoubas stated that all the parties of the system are methodically trying to “bury the causes that led to the death of 57 of our fellow human beings” and pointed out that “the causes are: the infamous “liberation” of the market based on EU guidelines, commercialization of transportation, the fragmentation of OSE and the privatization of its profitable parts, the huge understaffing and the huge deficiencies in security measures and infrastructure of the state OSE”.
He said that all this has been brought up over time by KKE MPs in the Parliament and added that the warnings of the workers “were not heeded, because safety is treated as a cost”.
He said that all the bourgeois parties are trying to hide the truth and noted, among other things, that “today a basic conclusion can be strengthened in wider working-people’s forces: In front of us we have a hostile state for the people. A state that considers the people’s needs as a cost and appears selectively incapable of solving the people’s problems. But it’s at the same time perfectly capable and perfectly efficient at auctioning off ordinary people’s houses electronically while at the same time manually maintaining the safety systems on the trains, as if we were a hundred years ago.”
“This is the infamous ‘digital modernized state’ their. This same state appears perfectly capable of being able to monitor and electronically file all citizens, undermine strikes and suppress demonstrations, while at the same time appearing incapable of protecting us from the consequences of earthquakes, fires, floods and large-scale accidents. Because this state counts human life as a cost. The state of the capitalist train driver may change, but not the owner, who moves it on the rails of the EU and the capitalist track, as long as it is not overthrown by the determined people themselves. This is what they are trying to hide from the first moment and they don’t want to tell the truth,” he added.
“Far more people than before understand the eternal responsibility of governments that sacrifice everything on the altar of the capitalists. Neither ND nor SYRIZA can convincingly hide it,” said D. Koutsoubas, while adding that G. Varoufakis also stated that “privatizing OSE will take us from the 19th to the 21st century.”
“Of course, this is another issue, the political criticism that we are clearly making, and another is the need to condemn the unacceptable and provocative attack against him…” he noted.
“Our people are against all of them” he said and pointed out that from the first moment, everywhere throughout the country, the members of the KKE and the KNE “gave all their strength, so that the popular mobilizations that express their anger continue” of the people and the youth”.
“This is how we reached the shocking participation of workers, people and youth in the strike last Wednesday throughout Greece. So we continue. The popular river of rage and anger that is being expressed shows that nothing has been decided yet” emphasized D. Koutsoubas.
