The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, is going to Brussels today, Sunday, March 19, where the EU-Iraq Association Council will take place, according to the relevant announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On Monday, March 20, the foreign minister will participate in the EU’s Foreign Affairs Council, discussing the Russian attack on Ukraine and the situation in Tunisia.

Under the heading of current affairs, EU foreign ministers will exchange views on the situation in Iran and developments regarding the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue.

Afterwards, Mr. Dendias will attend the Joint Meeting of the EU’s Foreign and Defense Ministers, discussing the implementation of the Strategic Compass, one year after its adoption, and the EU’s support for Ukraine.

Finally, the Foreign Minister will participate in the International Donors Conference on Turkey and Syria, which will be co-organized by the European Commission and the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
