The Greek Foreign Minister had a meeting with the president of Serbia today in Belgrade, in the context of Greece’s active support for the European proposal for the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, after the agreement reached in Ohrid on March 18.
“Greece is a reliable interlocutor, a historical friend of Serbia, an interlocutor who has a role to play with a very limited agenda, but a very important agenda: stability and security in the Balkan peninsula” said Nikos Dendias after the meeting with Alexander Vucic.

Today we had an extensive discussion with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, whom I thank for the lunch he hosted. The discussion mainly referred to the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue, after the last agreement. I also conveyed to him the greetings of the Prime Minister, Mr. Mitsotakis, and we had the opportunity of an extensive dialogue on how the conclusions of this Dialogue could be implemented.
