Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited today, during his tour of Fthiotida, the under-construction indoor swimming pool of Lamia, while later he spoke at the presentation of the Development Program of Central Greece, at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Lamia.

At the moment when the Mayor of Lamia, Thymios Karaiskos, was informing the Prime Minister about the project of the closed swimming pool in Lamia, a remark “surprised” Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

“Before the elections we will have it ready…”, said the contractor of the project, while immediately the Mayor of Lamia hastened to clarify that he meant the municipal elections and not the national ones.

“I say he knows when the elections will be held and I don’t know! You impressed me…”, commented the Prime Minister jokingly, with the Government Spokesman Yiannis Oikonomou saying: “Mr. President, there is a world that is primarily interested in the self-governing ones and then in the national ones…”.

“I am fully aware of it… however, what is certain is that the self-governing ones will take place after the national ones, that is the only thing that is certain!”, replied the Prime Minister.

Earlier, Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the port of Agios Konstantinos and Kamena Vourla.
