The parties are starting to officially enter the pre-election period. The submission of the financial programs, i.e. the way in which they will move in the next four years, is one of the main pillars of their strategy. As Winston Churchill used to say “you win the elections for what you promise”. Moreover, reliability will be largely determined by this. At least for the parties that claim power.

Alexis Tsipras this afternoon he will table the most important part of his economic program. Raising wages, reducing prices, regulating debts, a strong social and efficient state are the 4 main aspects in the programming priorities of SYRIZA, as the party executives say. An overall program that is about to be the subject of an economic analysis but also of a new political confrontation, centered on the proposal for the first residence.

At the same time, the president of SYRIZA will be flanked by the top executives who have participated in the formulation of the specific economic proposal. The finance department head of SYRIZA-P.S. Efi Ahtsioglou, the head of the Economy Alexis Haritsis, the parliamentary representative and coordinator of the Economic Circle Euclides Tsakalotos, the EKPA professor emeritus and former minister Louka Katselis, and the lawyer and member of the Board of Directors. of the Board of Directors Dimitris Lyritsis.

There are not a few who notice that apart from the announcements, there is also a strong element of symbolism.
