The President of KINAL, Nikos Androulakis, visited today the Health Center on Alexandras Avenue, where queues of citizens who want to undergo a coronavirus test are formed every day.
He called for the creation of multiple points that will provide free molecular and rapid tests, in order for citizens to avoid the hassle of long queues and for tracking to be done faster.
Mr. Androulakis also stressed the need to support primary care with permanent staff.
“As far as primary care is concerned, there are the structures of the NSS, the creation of which was the choice of our party in the past. These structures should be supported by the government strategically and not cyclically, with permanent staff and more modern equipment. If this had been done from the beginning of the pandemic, the citizens would have had better services, public hospitals would have received less pressure and we would have managed the pandemic more rationally. “Even now, these priorities must be chosen by the government,” he said.
