The deadline for submitting electronic applications of companies for the new job subsidy program for the employment of 3,400 unemployed, former employees in companies of the Regions of Western Macedonia and Peloponnese, which were affected by the effects of apolingite, is extended until Monday, January 31, 2022 , in full-time positions, according to an announcement by OAED.
The program, with a total budget of 48 million euros, is aimed at companies operating in the Region of Western Macedonia and in the Municipalities of Megalopolis, Tripoli, Gortynia, Sparta, Oichalia and Kalamata.
Beneficiaries are unemployed registered in the OAED register of Employment Promotion Centers (KPA2) located in areas under the jurisdiction of PE. Kozani (KPA2 Kozani and Ptolemaida), P.E. Florina (KPA2 of Florina and Amyntaio), as well as KPA2 of Tripoli (for registered unemployed of the Municipality of Megalopolis), for a period of at least one month.
The duration of the program is 12-18 months, the percentage of salary subsidy and contributions ranges between 75% -100%, while the grant amount ranges between 700 euros-933 euros per month and 8,397 euros-16,794 euros in total, depending on the category of unemployed and the branch of the company he worked for. The grant of salary and non-salary expenses includes holiday gifts and leave allowance.
The companies that are interested in participating in the program, submit their application exclusively electronically, through the State Aid Information System (PSKE) of the Ministry of Development & Investment, at the address http://www.ependyseis.gr/mis. Then, the labor consultants of OAED nominate candidates to the company, according to the specialty and the required qualifications and the company chooses among the candidates for the recruitment.
In addition, the process of submitting electronic applications for the new program for gaining professional experience of 2,000 young unemployed in the Region of Western Macedonia (1,450 positions) and in the Municipalities of Megalopolis, Tripoli, Gortynia, Sparta, Oichalia and Kalamata, Peloponnese Region (5) budget of EUR 14 million.
The program is addressed to private sector companies, companies, agencies and public organizations, which regularly carry out economic activity, as well as to first and second degree local government companies that regularly carry out economic activity in the above areas.
Beneficiaries are unemployed, aged 18-29, of any educational level, registered in the OAED register for at least one month in KPA2 Kozani, Ptolemaida, Florina, Amyntaio, Kastoria, Grevena, Tripoli (Municipalities of Tripoli, Megalpos, Gortyn) Sparta) and Kalamata (Municipalities of Kalamata and Oichalia).
The duration of the program is seven months and the participants are paid by OAED a monthly compensation equal to the legal minimum wage, as well as a ratio of holiday gifts and leave allowance.
Employers submit to the Integrated Information System (OIS) of OAED (e-services) a single electronic application, which is posted on the website of the Organization (www.oaed.gr). Then, the labor consultants of OAED nominate candidates to the company, according to the specialty and the required qualifications and the company chooses among the candidates for the recruitment.

As pointed out in the announcement, the programs are part of the “social package” of actions of OAED, with a total budget of 107 million euros, for a fair transition to the post-colonial era, with the aim of effectively supporting employment and social cohesion.
