“We have digitized 1,530 services in gov.gr and in total we have counted that there are a total of 5,500,” the Minister of Digital Governance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, told SKAI 100.3 and “Atairiastos”.
He added that major digitization projects have already been tendered, such as EFKA, hospitals and urban planning, which will soon have a contractor and will have completed their work in four years.”
As he said, within three years tripled the services that were digitized, as well as from 500 that were on gov.gr in 2020 today they number 1,530 while there are still 4,000 services that will join by the end of the next four years.
Also, the minister reiterated that a project that is being auctioned and will soon be ready, is his single call center for the entire public sectorwhich citizens will call for all public sector processes and in each case only one employee will be charged.
For KEP, he said that they will undertake several services that today citizens are forced to process at the counters.
Regarding the accident in Tempi, Mr. Pierrakakis he pointed out that “we have a lot of backlogs in digital governance that our goal is to complete in the next four years, since for the first time we have measured what the backlogs are.”
Furthermore, the digitization of real estate is expected, while for the new identity cards he said that they are going to be auctioned again as the validity of passports is extended from 5 to 10 years.
Finally, regarding the elections, he expressed the opinion that the ruling party will be independent.
