In vain. “Greece and Europe have answered you,” he stressed in a statement by the press representative of the New Democracy Eurogroup. Anna-Michel Asimakopoulou, following today’s vote in the Plenary of the European Parliament on the “Guidelines for the 2024 budget – Section III” and in response to the announcement of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance.

Mrs. Asimakopoulou pointed out that the amendment of the European People’s Party was passed in the Plenary of the European Parliament with a wide majority and indeed the Macron’s MEPs voted, “even Mr. Kirtsos”.
