“Self-reliant ND for a self-reliant Greece” was the phrase used by the prime minister in the introduction of his speech to the Political Committee of the New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakisonce again marking his party’s goal in the May 21 elections.
Kyriakos Mitspotakis summed up in three words the profile of the government in the last 4 years. “Stability, coherence, continuity” are the basic ingredients for dealing with crises, the prime minister stressed.
Making him account of the four years he ruled the country, Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred to the increases given after 12 years to pensioners, to the increases given to the minimum wage, to dealing with the pandemic and the energy crisis, while simultaneously reducing the public debt and bringing Greece to a pace development, “one step before the investment stage”.
