Calling voters to choose the PASOK for the next day, Nikos Androulakis addressed from Agrinio, launching an attack against both Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Alexis Tsipras.

“On May 21, we vote for PASOK and PASOK comes out, opening a new page for the homeland, for the youth, for all generations. That is why we call on the Greek people to make a choice of responsibility, a choice of change between a state of opacity, which exists only as a spoil for the “blue” children, and a state of transparency and respect for institutions and rights. Between a state of social injustice that implements policies for the few and powerful, and a state of justice with strong public health and education” he emphasized.

Responding to reports from its executives New Republic about monstrosity, Mr. Androulakis pointed out: “In the last few days, the executives of New Democracy, anxious for their seats, have been “sacking” PASOK with the drachma party of Yanis Varoufakis. As much as they want to distort the modern history of Greece, the Democratic Party was the only party that, -from the beginning of the crisis and the bankruptcy left behind by Mr. Karamanlis-, kept a stable position. He defended the Greece of the euro, when New Democracy together with SYRIZA, Varoufakis and the extreme right were saying big and easy words with a law and an article. So, without asterisks, without illusions from Zappeia and Thessaloniki, for us then, that fight was not just for a coin. It was also about the geopolitical position of the country. Because safety and perspective are above all else. Because we are a deeply patriotic movement, which does not play games on the backs of the Greek people”.

“Mr. Mitsotakis accuses us of “monstrosities” by inventing science fiction scenarios. PASOK, Mr. Mitsotakis, knows a monstrosity: That of the lower and upper square. Drachmists, neo-Nazis, leftist and blue delusions “gloried” together over the sacrifices and pains of the Greek people. That’s why, therefore, responsibility lessons elsewhere” noted Mr. Androulakis

“Today, Mr. Tsipras he is “tight-knit” with the representative of the Karamanlis government, Mr. Antonaros. Awesome left and progressive choice! He also “turns a blind eye” to Golden Dawn by not voting to introduce a legislative obstacle to the neo-Nazi murderers of Pavlos Fyssas from participating in the next Parliament. What is progressive about all of this? Is it progressive that his closest associate, Mr. Pappas, is condemned 13-0 by the Special Court because of the television licenses, and instead of being at his house, he is “front desk” on the SYRIZA ballots? Finally, let Mr. Tsipras stop pretending to be the representative of progressive governance. The only thing that can succeed is to be the scarecrow in favor of Mr. Mitsotakis” commented the President of PASOK-Movement for Change.

Regarding the stakes posed by New Democracy and SYRIZA, Mr. Androulakis pointed out: “Mr. Mitsotakis is trying to wear the costume of stability, while he is the main factor of instability with wiretapping, the capture of the state by the “blue” guys, boldly declaring that he will drag the country into as many fights as necessary, as long as he is the prime minister himself. We answer: Stability and progress from the first Sunday, without the country getting into the adventures that Mr. Tsipras and Mr. Mitsotakis want to lead it. On the other hand, Mr. Tsipras says something terrible: “I make a government of only winners”. What does a government of only winners mean? It means that he does not believe in simple proportionality, which he himself voted for. So, the priority of Mr. Tsipras, – even if all the democrats, progressive Greeks understand it -, is not to leave the Right and Mitsotakis, it is to become prime minister himself at any cost to the country”.

From Agrinio, the President of PASOK-Movement for Change presented a package of measures for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, proposing, among other things:
-Three-year tax exemption on realized profits of new business models, which will be created by networking and collaborations.
– Special financing lines from the NSRF for the relocation of small and medium enterprises in organized industrial parks.
-Special financing lines from the Recovery Fund for small and medium-sized investments in innovation, energy adaptation, digital transformation.
-Creation of product development centers in the regions, to provide technical assistance in design, standardization, development of new products and their distribution networks.
-For the accumulated debts to tax authorities and insurance funds, real arrangements in 120 installments with a “haircut” for those who are consistent.

He insisted on the need to protect borrowers’ primary residence. “For us, the second chance of dignity for all the Greeks who fought in a transparent way, fought but did not succeed, is a priority. We will not let the Greek economy de-Hellenize. We are not discussing the populism of Mr. Tsipras, who said in 2014 – before the elections – “don’t pay your loans, you bastards”, and after a year he passed the law that handed over the bad loans to the funds, with the result that today blackmailing a large part of the Greek people. Against populism, we respond with justice and rationality. That is why we are bringing back the protection of the first residence, with an updated law like that of PASOK in 2010, the “Katseli law” that Mr. Tsipras wants to appropriate, with Ms. Katseli close to him, but he does not tell the Greek people that the SYRIZA did not vote for him and was against every effort to support society in a difficult phase of the economic crisis,” said Mr. Androulakis.
