The president of PASOK – KINAL launched an attack on ND and SYRIZA saying that “all they care about is ending PASOK, they don’t want cooperation but your votes, they want to continue their games”
Victory message that “the democratic faction returned to the political foreground of the country” sent by Nikos Androulakis from Kozani during his speech at the city’s Art Gallery. The president of PASOK – KINAL emphasized that “we are waging a patriotic and at the same time national struggle so that on May 21st the sun of dignity that gave the Greek people the best years of the post-colonial period will rise.”
Responding to the prime minister’s recent statements that “PASOK is closer to Tsipras”, he wondered who is on the right side of history, PASOK or ND, recalling that “if in 2011 the majority of our MPs voted that they voted for Tsipras and Mitsotakis together today we would be in the drachma because both were on the same front against logic and in favor of the bankruptcy of the country”. Mr. Androulakis, addressing the Prime Minister, said in this regard “let him ask his sister, Mrs. Bakoyannis, who voted for the loan agreement, to remind him who is on the right side of history.”
Referred to on the subject of wiretapping spoke about the minister Adonis Georgiadis and others of the ND “who are attacking Rammos of the Independent authority who fought to expose the parastatal of eavesdropping”, while at the same time he spoke about the attacks of SYRIZA executives during their period of government on the independent authorities saying that “we are not like them, they are absolutely same, their practices are identical”.
Mr. Androulakis reminded that he has huge political and moral differences with the ND.“I didn’t have anyone in my environment who was burdened with the scandals like the prime minister’s close associate and nephew, while on the other hand Mr. Tsipras who has his close friend who is convicted 13-0 by the Special Court at the same time participates in SYRIZA ballot papers instead of sending him home.”
Referred to in the matter of Tempes stressed that the story and what was revealed by the authorities “they are an intersection in that there is no limit to wickedness, there is no bottom to the weakness of political morality”.
He asked “to stop appointing the party armies of the two parties to the organizations and councils of the state and to hire them after a competition based on merit criteria” and referred to the public proposal he made to the two parties without receiving a response. “I have not received an answer, since it seems that they agree and want a spoil state in their hands at the expense of your taxes and the public interest”. He emphasized that in PASOK “you won’t see Patsido phenomena just like you won’t see client state phenomena in PASOK” while he attacked the prime minister on the issue of meritocracy, saying that “it is currently being done by an army of transferable ND employees”.
On the subject of red loans accused Alexis Tsipras as “hard populist who mocked the Greek people, while selling the loans to foreign funds” while at the same time, referring to the prime minister, he wondered if he is a rationalist when he reaches the point of questioning the overwhelming data of the OECD that reveal the unfavorable economic situation of Greek citizens in terms of the reduction of their purchasing power and the emptying of their incomes from indirect taxes . “The economy is not doing well, but your friends are doing well, your cronies are doing well, the oligarchs are doing well, Mr. Mitsotakis, and we have a duty to end the policy that makes the rich richer and the poor poorer.”
Finally, he called the citizens “to rely on the credibility of the democratic party” saying we owe on May 21st “to mark the ignominious end of the two closed systems of power that change their pre-election narratives like shirts”.
“They are not interested in partnerships” emphasized Mr. Androulakis, “all they care about is finishing PASOK, they don’t want cooperation but your votes, they want to continue their games” and closing his speech he called on those gathered to give the message of change that “the democratic faction has returned and will be the protagonist of developments”.
