The prime minister expressed the certainty that New Democracy will be the big winner of the May 21 elections Kyriakos Mitsotakis speaking to citizens of Kryas Vrysis of the prefecture Pella.

“On Sunday night we will be the big winners to be able to continue this course of recovery of the country, which we started four years ago” said the prime minister and attacked SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance saying:

And they take refuge in their hopelessness and despair every day and in a new scenario. And what haven’t we heard? I have been in politics and watching elections since 1981 since I was 13 years old. I have never seen four days before an election where there is a single proposal of government. And on the other hand, let there be absolute innocence.

We know what we want: a self-reliant New Democracy and a self-reliant Greece. What exactly do others want, what exactly are they asking for? Let the country sink into instability, into chaos, into an inappropriate coexistence without beginning, middle and end. For months, he says, a government that will do nothing but investigate the wiretapping issue? Are these serious things?

Look, I understand their desperation. I think they also move within the same society and see the current that New Democracy has. But they have no right to play the country’s fortunes again on the dice. They did it once in 2015. Thanks to New Democracy we were saved from certain disaster, we will not allow them to do it again. And there is a way, to disable the bomb of simple analogy all together to close the gap in any plan for a possible government of losers. The prime minister said that for the laws of Pella and Imathia more than 400 million euros were given to support the primary sector and that last year there was a record export of 8 billion euros in the primary sector.

He emphasized that he considers it a good luck to close his pre-election tours with a visit to central Macedonia and especially the prefecture of Pella and asked the voters of the region to give the ND a larger percentage than in the 2019 elections.
