“The only ones talking about the future of the country are us, New Democracy. We don’t waste ourselves in shadow battles and feuds, which in the end are not of interest to the citizens” pointed out, among others, the president of New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis in an interview on the show “To Proinono” on the TV station ANT1.

“When you set the bar high, you have to jump even higher” noted Mr. Mitsotakis and raised the stakes of the upcoming elections again.

“For me, the bar is a comfortable parliamentary majority, I constantly explain to the world why I want an independent government, which is a condition for making the big changes that the country needs. No one would want an unstable majority of one, two or three MPs. The government of the New Democracy has proven that it can integrate executives from other political areas”, said the president of the New Democracy.

In response to a question about the next Council of Ministers, Mr. Mitsotakis announced a wide “rotation” as he said, and the participation of more women. He accused SYRIZA and PASOK of having a hidden agenda in the economy and especially in taxation and that they “love overtaxation equally”.

Answering precisely, the president of New Democracy insisted on more controls, support for the vulnerable, but also an increase in disposable income. Kyriakos Mitsotakis revealed that the first bill of his possible next government will be the updating of the staff state and the second will concern the priorities of tax policy.
