“There is no possibility of a third ballot. I believe that the Greek people, with the result of May 21, have shown that they have changed the page”, said ND MP candidate Stelios Petsas to SKAI and on the program “Kalimera” with Giorgos Autias.

Mr. Petsas noted that “our enemy is complacency, we must continue our effort, be close to society, with humility, with seriousness, explain our political proposal so that the result of May 21 is repeated in order to have a strong, self-reliant, government”.

“We are at a pivotal point for Greece, I am convinced that from 2023 to 2027 we can make leaps. The situation was not favorable in previous years. The time has come to be able to have the dividend of development for all Greeks”, he added.

Also, Mr. Petsas accused SYRIZA and PASOK of excessive concessions and argued that they are competing for who will pay more taxes. “Out of anxiety to show that they have some serious proposal, to show that there is money for this excessive provision and SYRIZA and PASOK started talking about dividends, about ENFIA, about parental benefits. They appeared to be competing for who will put more taxes on the Greeks, when our own policy is clear: Reduce taxes and contributions, with responsibility, with confidence, without disturbing the fiscal balance. They show their deep will which is overtaxation,” he said.

“Only a reduction in taxes and social security contributions. We have invested in a policy that brings investments, brings jobs and lifts the burdens from the backs of the Greeks”, he added.

However, Mr. Petsas emphasized that “PASOK’s basic program costs approximately 12 billion euros a year”, while “ND’s four-year program costs 9 billion euros”, clarifying that “the dividends also concern small and medium entrepreneurship”.
