There is no scenario of co-government between PASOK and NDwe aim to be a strong and reliable opposition, said its president PASOK, Nikos Androulakisspeaking to SKAI 100.3 and journalists Vasilis Chiotis and Noti Papadopoulos.

Mr. Androulakis invited progressive voters to come to June 25 and embrace this new endeavor, for the ND to be countered by a strong opposition.

He noted that if there was credible oppositionthe ND would have much lower rates on May 21 elections and added that to a large extent the percentage is “sponsored by SYRIZA”.

Regarding the dilemma posed by Mr. Mitsotakis that if the ND does not have independence on June 25 we will go to third elections, Mr. Androulakis commented that “soon Mr. Mitsotakis will tell us to vote for me so that I don’t spoil your August holidays”.

Mr. Androulakis severely criticized the ND for the his condition YOU saying that we are experiencing its collapse, while he added that during the days of the ND government the country reached second place in private health expenditure in the EU.

He added that the ND government did not use the millions that came from the EU to support the health system: “We have the worst health system, the data is revealing. They give you 20 billion euros from the EU and the government gave the minimum to the national system” he said characteristically.

When asked if he would co-govern PASOK with ND in order to avoid anarchy in the country, Mr. Androulakis answered categorically saying that there is nothing in common between the two parties and repeated that Mr. Mistotakis serves 1,000 families, institutionally he has damaged the country through widespread corruption.

He added that PASOK must become a strong opposition that will face the ND: “The most dangerous scenario is the omnipotence of the ND and not the lack of governance” he said characteristically and explained that if the new electoral law had existed in the May 21 elections, the ND would have won 172 seats and not 146.

He added that Mr. Mitsotakis serves the Eastern-style European model, as in Hungary and referred to wiretapping case.

The Greek people do not deserve the Tsipras – Mitsotakis toxicity tangohe added and repeated that there is no fear of anarchy, there is a fear of ND omnipotence.

Mr. Androulakis accused the ND of enormous arrogance and emphasized that PASOK’s priority is for the country to have a strong competitive base that will withstand international turmoil and a strong social state.

In comment that what PASOK and SYRIZA say are similar he replied that “the caption may be the same, but the content is different.”

And he specifically mentioned that “SYRIZA always says ‘give more’, while we say to give as much money as is necessary with criteria and targeted”.

He added that he wants the money given by the Recovery Fund to be redistributed, adding that Mr. Mitsotakis has room to redirect some of the money until the end of the year.

“But the priority of the ND is the private sector” said Mr. Androulakis and mentioned as an example that of the railway and the lack of investment by the ND government, at a time when all European states are moving in this direction.

In conclusion, Mr. Androulakis emphasized: “We are reliable! If the people honor me with their vote, I will build a relationship of trust with the popular strata so that the citizen feels that we will always be by his side.”
