A delegation of New Democracy toured the Prefecture of Arta led by the former Minister of Labor and Social Affairs and candidate for Member of Parliament B1 of Athens Kostis Hatzidakis and the former First Vice-President of the Hellenic Parliament and candidate for Member of Parliament for Athens Nikita Kaklamanis.

During the tour Mr. Hatzidakis he visited, among others, the villages of Tzoumerki, Bourgareli, Athamaniou, Ano Kalentini and Diaselo, while earlier he made a joint visit and speech with Mr. Kaklamanis, in the city of Arta. The echelon also met with His Eminence Metropolitan Artis Mr. Kallinikos.

In his statements immediately after the end of the visits, Mr. Hatzidakis emphasized: “The map in ‘Arta will remain blue, on the evening of June 25th. I was impressed by the warm welcome from the residents of the area, but we pointed out to all potential New Democracy voters that no vote should be wasted in the next elections. Greece needs a clear horizon.”

From his side Mr. Kaklamanis after visiting the city of Arta where he spoke with citizens in the squares of Kilkis and Agios Dimitrios, he visited the areas of Peta, Neochori, Aneza and Agios Spyridon, accompanied by local officials. Immediately after the end of the meetings, in his statements he emphasized: “The spontaneous events of the friends of New Democracy at every stop of our tour made me optimistic about the outcome of the election on June 25. The New Democracy will be the government and Kyriakos Mitsotakis the Prime Minister of Greece”.

It is worth noting that Mr. Hatzidakis and Mr. Kaklamanis, accompanied by the members of the DEEP, the local DIMTO and politicians, met with party officials, visited local shops where they spoke with businessmen and workers and exchanged views with representatives of authorities and bodies area, transferring the government plan of New Democracy for the next four years.
