The minority has needs and we are determined to work in the direction of solving the problems and supporting the minority, said Dora Bakoyannis
A delegation of New Democracy, headed by candidate MP of Chania and president of the Inter-Party Committee of Thrace Dora Bakoyannis, accompanied by the coordinator of the election campaign, former Deputy Minister of National Defense Nikos Hardalia, visited the Regional Unity of Rhodope.
During the tour, Mrs. Bakoyannis and Mr. Hardalias, accompanied by the politicians of the prefecture as well as members of DEEP and DIMTO, visited the villages of the mountainous massif, namely Vyrsini, Myrtiski and Organi where they met with residents and communicated the programmatic positions of the party in view of the June 25 elections.
Immediately after, they held a meeting with the governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Christos Metios and the vice-governors of Rodopi and Xanthi, in the city of Komotini, they visited the Folklore Museum of Xylagani while they talked with residents and professionals of the surrounding villages in an open gathering, where the peculiarities were highlighted of the region but also its development potential.
In her statements immediately after the end of the visits, Mrs. Bakoyannis emphasized: “New Democracy has proven in practice its interest in the minority. He has proven in practice that he does what he promises. We seek the comparison with SYRIZA and the way they treated the minority when they were in government.
Indeed, the minority has needs and we are determined, we have proven it after all, to work in the direction of solving the problems and supporting the minority. The vote for ND by the minority will be a very strong signal for the work that has been done and for the work that has been set in motion. Our aim is for young men and women, the next generations to stand firmly on their feet as Greek European citizens”.
